English (vertaal deze tekst in Nederlands): While many divers wouldn't look toward the Mid-Atlantic for a quality diving location, Lake Rawlings provides suprises for those seeking something different in their adventures.

With a maximum depth of 65 feet, warm water, and good visibility (30 to 60 feet), the lake has many wonders to explore.

Lake Rawlings - Interesting dive with Dive Master in training.  Took pictures for Rylie (she wanted to see the bus and basketball hoop).  Lake was warm at the surface, but had a very sharp thermocline at about 20 feet.  3-2 wetsuit and gloves were f

Perspective - This is a privately owned quarry, turned into a dive training mecca in the middle of nowhere.
It is a bit expensive, but has an on-site shop and plenty of air to go around.
This place gets large numbers of people throughout the year, mostly in training.
Visibility varies from 10-60 feet dependent on the number of fins kicking up silt.
It has a heavy population of Blue Fin, but not much else in the way of biology.

There are several deposited items in the bottom ranging from basketball hoops to a good sized penetrable airplane.

The location also offers cabin rental and tent camping, with showers available.
